I was over at The Fairy Blogmother's blog & she had a Friday High Five all about five things you might not know about her. She put a question out about the 5 things people may not know about her readers. Well....I'm always looking for a fun blog post idea so here it goes!
Five Things You May Not Know About Me!
- I used to be a runner. Well, that's not really true because I hated every minute of it but I did a lot of it. When I lived in Austin, TX, I ran a 10k, a 30k, a half marathon & a marathon. Then I stopped. Never really ran since. I keep saying I'm going to get back into it but it just hasn't happened. I think it's because it's really hard for me, I never lost weight doing it & I never ever felt that "runner's high" everyone talks about.
- I've been dying my hair consistently since high school. My mom's side of the family has that prematurely gray hair gene that I just LOVE (not!). Since I didn't really want to sport gray hair in university I started dying it. Never stopped b/c darn it I'm still too young for gray hair!
- I HATE housecleaning! I know that's not that unusual but I REALLY hate it. If it weren't for our nanny my house would be a pit. I'm wondering what we will do when Evan is in school & we might not have a nanny. I don't know if I can go back to cleaning. Please don't make me!!!!!!
- I let my feelings get hurt WAY too easily. It's funny, I have really thick skin about a lot of things but it's still really easy to hurt my feelings. I know that people don't mean to & that I should not let things bother me so much but sometimes I just can't help it. It annoys Dewey to no end. He then gets frustrated with me & then I get more upset. Ack!
- I've never been to Mexico. I know that sounds pretty normal except it's not that normal in Calgary. Since winter is soooooo long here, most people go on a vacation in January or February. Most people go to Mexico because it is relatively inexpensive. We have a trip planned soon so this won't be true any more.

I remember all too well that you get your feelings hurt easily! I wasn't always the nicest person in high school. I have gray hair too and since we were in high school! Cover it up is my solution as well!
Aren't we all glad we've changed since high school! I think that haircolor is fun. You can change it in all different ways. Right now I have brown hair with blonde, black & bright red highlights. I just wish the red didn't fade so fast!
